Who benefits from Sovereign Sabbaticals?

Sovereign Sabbaticals was created specifically for ministry leaders and helping professionals across denominations who are carrying the weight of caring for others without enough space to be cared for themselves. This retreat is for leaders who are ready to set that pattern down, even briefly, and remember that Sabbath was never meant to be earned. It was given.

More than a vacation, it's a recalibration

A vacation is designed to distract you from your life for a while. Sabbath is designed to reconnect you to it. Vacations are wonderful, and every leader needs them. But most vacations still require you to plan, perform, and manage, whether that's an itinerary, a family, or your phone buzzing with church business you can't quite put down. Many pastors come back from vacation just as tired as when they left, because the root of their exhaustion was never actually addressed.

Experience true transformation

You'll leave with language for what you were experiencing, because burnout so often gets misread as a lack of faith rather than named for what it is. You'll have experienced real Sabbath, not the idea of it, but the actual practice of stillness and trust, perhaps for the first time in years. Practically, you'll leave with an individualized Sabbath and wellness plan, something concrete you helped build during the retreat, not a set of good intentions you'll forget by Monday. Most of all, leaders tell us they leave with a renewed sense of call. Not because the retreat fixed every hard thing, but because they remembered they were held by a grace greater than their own efforts.
